F\u00eate communale : dernier dimanche de juin<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> <\/strong><strong>Un peu d\u2019histoire<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le village a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1125, puis prend le nom de Ch\u00e9ry-et-Monceau-les-Rozoy en 1750.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Population en 1750 : 415 habitants. Surface territoriale : 472 hectares. La commune regroupait une \u00e9cole primaire mixte ainsi que le moulin sur la Serre. L\u2019agriculture florissante et le tissage \u00e9taient les seules ressources du pays.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1751, un cur\u00e9 portait le nom d\u2019A.E.Guyot. En 1785, un instituteur portait le nom Guyot Martin.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019\u00e9glise ne poss\u00e8de plus de son ancienne construction que le portail. On croit savoir que&nbsp;sa construction&nbsp;date du XII\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. On \u00e9rigea en 1851 le collat\u00e9ral sud et une sacristie, en 1857, le collat\u00e9ral nord et le ch\u0153ur pour un co\u00fbt de 9 850 francs de l\u2019\u00e9poque. L\u2019autel en pierres est orn\u00e9 de belles et gracieuses sculptures, le tabernacle est surmont\u00e9 d\u2019un fl\u00e8che et \u00ab environne \u00bb des statues des 12 ap\u00f4tres.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La cloche, nomm\u00e9e Louise Ursule, p\u00e8se 510 kg, elle fut baptis\u00e9e le 16 mai 1864, par Guyenne, cur\u00e9 doyen de Montcornet.
